What Mac Supremacy??

My friend, Alexander Chow, is a HUGE proponent of Macs.  And when I say HUGE, I mean his middle name is probably "IloveSteveJobs".  I would confirm, but I haven't had a chance to glance at his birth certificate.  Anyhow, Alex has long tried to convince me to purchase a Mac, but we have never quite reached the tipping point.  I fundamentally dislike Macs because they're basically a monopoly - you can only get a Mac from, well, Apple.  And now, I present to you for your entertainment, a chat to reinforce my position. :)

me:  Where ya been?
Haven't seen you online in a long time (before this morning, of course)
Alexander:  my hard drive crashed...
and i was waiting for a new computer (yes, i got a new computer out of it)
me:  On your MAC????
Please tell me it's your Mac
Alexander:  it was like a seagate or something like that
me:  Please
Please
Please
Oh
Alexander:  hard drive
me:  External hard drive?
Alexander:  internal
me:  ...on your MAC???
Alexander:  anyhow... since I was due for a refresh, my company upgraded me. computer
me:  HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAA
ON YOUR MAC!!!!!
My Lenovo hasn't broken yet

You cannot imagine how happy I am at this moment.

HAHAHAHHAA
Alexander:  you just had a bug die in it
me:  Yes...but that's MUCH different from the actual components dying!
In fact, you could say it's even better...when a foreign object enters the system, the Lenovo KILLS it
Unfortunately it was inside my screen instead of outside, but that's beside the point.

Alexander:  no... you see.. your lenovo had a design flaw that allowed a bug to crawl under the screen. for my mac, it is still functional... its just that the third party hard drive it was using died
very diff.
me:  I love how you separate the two

Even though it's INSIDE your Mac

Alexander:  but the problem was not caused by a design flaw of my mac
me:  You are now part of my status on FB AND Gchat!
So you're saying Apple's inability to partner with a sound hard drive producer has no bearing on Apple's credibility or quality...very nice
OH HAPPY DAY!

Alexander:  it is one degree removed
me:  ...and yet inside your laptop

HAPPY DAY HAPPY DAY!
Alexander:  for your lenovo, their engineers did it. for my mac, somebody else's engineers did.
me:  Say what you need to say to rationalize away your Mac's utter failure
Bottom line...mine worked while yours was idling.

Alexander:  whatevers
me:  HAPPY HAPPY DAY!
You got MacAttacked!

Your "one degree of separation" now has me 50 times further from ever getting a Mac.
I've had laptop issues with my PC's...but have never had a hard drive FAIL.
HAPPY HAPPY HAPPY DAY!
)

Alexander:  whatevers.
50x further is nothign.
me:  Your silence is deafening.

Your Mac-->
My Lenovo -->
Alexander:  whatevers
i'm not going to talk w/ you naymore
 me:  YAYAYAYAYAYAYAY!
HAPPY DAY HAPPY DAY!!!!!!!!
Not only are you part of my GChat and FB updates, you just turned yourself in to a xanga post, my friend!
